Caves 

Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa (Dobšinská ice cave) is one of the most well-known caves in Europe. It is located in Slovenský raj in the district Rožňava (Košice region), only 14 km from the hotel. Length of the tour is 515 m. During this tour with the duration of approximatelly 40 minutes you can admire beautiful ice pillars, but also ice waterfalls and the unique history.

Another well-known cave is the limestone Gombasecká jaskyňa (Gombasek cave), located in the Slovenský kras (Slovak Carst), not far from Rožňava, about 49 km from the hotel. It was formed as the result of activity of an underground stream, therefore it belongs to the group of lime caves. For its jewels it was included in the Fund of the World Natural Heritage UNESCO in 1995. Tour around this cave with the length of 530 m lasts 35 minutes.

The third cave worth visiting is the Ochtinská aragonitová jaskyňa (Ochtiná aragonit cave). It is also located near Rožňava (Košice county), close to historical Štítnik, only 50 km from the hotel. It is one of the 3 aragonite caves in the world made available for the public (together with Mexico and Argentine). It belongs to the Fund of the World Natural Heritage UNESCO. Length of the tour is 585 m and the duration of the tour is 45 minutes.

Krásnohorská cave located near the castle Krásna Hôrka, approximatelly 47 km from the hotel is also unique. You will certainly not forget the trip to the cave lasting for hour and a half with a professional and qualified guide – a speleologist booked in advance.
